A backyard twist on a timeless classic! This grilled pepperoni pizza brings together crispy, fire-kissed dough, rich tomato sauce, bold seasoning, and artisan pepperoni for the ultimate pizza night experience.
Follow the instructions on the back of the Urban Slicer Outdoor Grilling Dough package to prepare your dough:
In a large bowl, add the entire packet of dough mix and exactly one cup (236g) of warm water.
Mix well until the dough is smooth and elastic. Knead 10 minutes by hand or 8 minutes in a stand mixer with a dough hook.
Form into two identical-sized balls and let rise in a covered bowl for 2ā4 hours at room temperature.
On a floured surface, roll each ball into a 13"ā14" circle.
Next, par-bake your crust: Slide the dough directly onto hot grill grates (preheated to 450ā500 °F). Cook until the top is bubbling, rotating as needed, or until the bottom of the crust is showing some browning and grill marks, approximately 1-3 minutes.
Remove your crust from the grill, flip the crust, and add your toppings to the grilled side:
Add a light layer of Pizza Sauce! by Urban Slicer Pizza Worx (approximately 4 oz).
Add cheese.
Top with Original Sliced Pepperoni by Coro Artisan Meats.
Sprinkle Red Pizza Mojo Seasoning by Urban Slicer Pizza Worx on top to taste.
Top with fresh basil.
Return to the grill and cook until melted and bubbly, or until your desired level of doneness.
