Maple Bourbon Wing Sauce by PS Seasoning: For the Grill Master who enjoys the finer things in life, this sticky sauce is a true gourmet delight. The sweet embrace of maple syrup hugs your proteins like a warm, cozy blanket, while the rich notes of bourbon swoop in, bringing a touch of sophistication to every bite. Made for wings, but amazing on pork, turkey, meatballs, and lamb, it’s also incredible as binder and even as a dipping sauce. Very versatile!

Sure Shot Sid’s Original Gunpowder Seasoning: It’s steak & meat gunpowder, a black powder blend that offers rich aromas and smoky flavors to vegetables and all types of meat. Way back in 1994, Sid created his most successful seasoning blend and named it Gunpowder Seasoning. How to Make Delicious Wings:

  1. Start by rinsing the wings and patting them dry with paper towels.
  2. Season the wings with your desired seasoning.
  3. Cook the wings until they are golden brown and cooked through to 165°F.
  • If Grilling/Smoking: Baste your wings with wing sauce in the last 15 minutes of the grilling process.
  • If Frying/Baking: Once the wings are cooked and crispy, toss them in wing sauce.

Nearly burning his house down, Harold was determined to find a better way. After several drafts, Harold finally settled on his first smoker, the Model 100. A FAMILY OBSESSED WITH FLAVOR: After Pro Smoker was established, Harold realized there was a need for sausage seasonings to go along with his homemade smokers. Harold, along with his son Ken and Ken's wife, Kate, established PS Seasoning in 1986. ⁠ ⁠ The company opened a storefront in Iron Ridge, WI where spices were hand-scooped for customers. The store also sold sausage-making supplies, cheese, and smoked meats. Harold became the company's mascot and the cartoon icon Lil' Harry became synonymous with old-world flavor and craftsmanship. 

FOUR-GENERATIONS STRONG: Today, our facility has grown from a small storefront to a 100,000 sq foot facility with a library of over 3,000 blends. Through new innovation and product development, the next generation of the Hanni family is committed to honoring the past while still preparing for the future. About the Vendor: Sidney Page, the creator of Sure Shot Sid’s Gunpowder Seasoning and one of the owners of J M Exotic Foods, has a passion for creating unique seasoning blends. Way back in 1994, Sid created his most successful seasoning blend and named it Gunpowder Seasoning. This smokey charcoal flavored blend became wildly successful in the restaurant arena and was the “secret” ingredient to several Steak restaurants in Alabama. In 1996 sales of the Gunpowder seasoning were so strong, the company decided to introduce Gunpowder seasoning in a smaller retail size bottle, and proudly named it Sure Shot Sid’s Gunpowder Seasoning!

As the years rolled on, Gunpowder sales expanded all over the Southeast. By the year 2002, Gunpowder Seasoning was distributed by 3 grocery warehouses, 7 DSD distributors and 2 Foodservice distributors.

Fast forward to 2018, Sid created 2 new versions of his now famous Gunpowder Seasoning! Smokey Bacon Gunpowder Seasoning and Roasted Coffee Gunpowder Rub were introduced.

In 2019, we started ‘Sure Shot Sid’s Gives Back’ by providing lunch and samples of our Gunpowder Seasoning to First Responders. This wonderful event started in our home town, Moody Alabama. You can see pictures of some of these events on our Facebook page, and other social media.

In 2021, Sid’s vision for Sure Shot Sid’s expanded again with the creation of his Original BBQ Gunpowder Seasoning and Honey BBQ Gunpowder Seasoning!

Currently, we are manufacturing 5 unique flavors of our Gunpowder Seasoning in various sizes.

In 2022, we introduced Sure Shot Sids to the world, via various Social Media. While building our Social Media platforms, we were thrilled to find many of our Gunpowder Fans have already been making videos using our Gunpowder Seasoning! The heart of Terrapin Ridge Farms comes from my love of entertaining. I grew up in a family that loved to host parties – our annual Holiday Open House was legendary. My friends loved to hang out at our house and everybody was extra excited when it was Aunt Rosie’s (my mom’s) turn to host the holiday party. She made it look so easy. Her secret was a laid back style and effortless, great-tasting food. The spread looked and tasted like she fussed for days.

I discovered early on I inherited this love of entertaining and ultimately this love is what has drawn me into the world of specialty food. After 10 years in the specialty food industry, I ventured out to buy a small specialty food brand with budding potential. I reached out to a friend of 22 years, and fellow Cleveland native, Brian Coughlin, in July of 2010 and together we purchased the Terrapin Ridge Farms brand. Our brand has grown from a handful of items to over 84 great selling products including savory jams, garnishing aioli squeezes, mustards, dips, dressings, sauces, and now grill and wing sauces. We have developed a reputation as a truly original, high quality food creator.
