Ingredients
-
1 Tsp Carne Asada Seasoning by The Spice Guy
- 2 Tbsp Coarse Salt (bonus points if you still have Lane’s Original Smoked Finishing Salt from our previous “‘Tis the Seasoning” box!)
- 4-6 Limes (halved)
- 3 oz Simple Syrup
- 2 Jalapenos
- 2 oz Orange Juice
- 6 oz Gold Tequila
- 3 oz Triple Sec
- 3 oz Grand Marnier (optional for floater)
Directions
- Start by seasoning the lime halves and jalapenos with our Carne Asada and smoke them at 275 °F for 20-25 minutes. This will enhance the flavor and bring out the juices.
- After they’ve cooled, juice the limes.
- In a serving pitcher, add the juice from the smoked limes (should be 4-6 ounces), 1 teaspoon of Carne Asada Seasoning by The Spice Guy, 1 minced jalapeno, 4 oz simple syrup, 2 oz orange juice, 6 oz gold tequila, 3 oz triple sec, and 3 oz Grand Marnier (optional for floater).
- Stir thoroughly and add ice.
- Rim your margarita glasses with lime and a mixture of Carne Asada Seasoning by The Spice Guy and coarse salt.
- Pour margaritas into glasses, garnish with a thin slice of smoked lime, and enjoy!
