Ingredients
-
Leftover prime rib
-
Choice of bread
-
Favorite seasonings, sauces, and veggies
Directions
Start by thinly slicing the leftover prime rib. You can do this using a sharp knife or a meat slicer.
Preheat your grill or griddle to 450°F.
While the grill is heating up, prepare the sandwiches by laying out the sliced prime rib on one slice of bread or a baguette, topping it with olive oil, your favorite seasoning, condiments, and vegetables. Great options include horseradish sauce, mustard, lettuce, tomato, and caramelized onions.

Close the sandwich by placing the second slice of bread on top and lightly pressing down to secure the ingredients.
Spread a thin layer of butter or mayonnaise on the outside of the sandwich. This will help the sandwich brown evenly and add some extra flavor.
Place the sandwich on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the bread or baguette is toasted and the prime rib is heated through. *You can also toast the bread or baguette on a stovetop griddle or in a toaster if you prefer.
Remove the sandwich from the grill and let it cool for a minute or two before slicing and serving.
Serve the prime rib sandwich with your desired side dishes and enjoy!
