INGREDIENTS
Salmon Ingredients
- 4 tbsp Mis Rubins' Black Magic Seasoning ((featured box item))
- 2 tbsp Your Favorite Sweet & Spicy BBQ Sauce ((try Bully Sauce Red))
- Kosher Salt ((to taste))
- 4 Sesame seed buns ((or your favorite type of bun, e.g. a Brioche works well))
- 4 6oz Salmon Filet ((skinless))
Cucumber Slaw Ingredients
- 1 English cucumber ((sliced thin))
- 4 Radishes ((sliced thin))
- 3 Scallions ((sliced thin))
- 1/2 cup Cilantro ((chopped))
- 1/2 head Red Cabbage ((sliced thin))
- 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Ground Black Pepper ((to taste))
- Kosher Salt ((to taste))
Instructions
Preheat grill to MED/HIGH heat.
Season salmon fillets with Mis' Rubin's Black Magic Seasoning and a pinch of Kosher Salt.
Prepare the Cucumber Slaw
In a large bowl, combine first five ingredients of slaw (Cucumber, Radishes, Scallions, Cilantro & Cabbage).
In a small bowl whisk the rest of the ingredients to create your vinaigrette (Apple Cider Vinegar, Honey, Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Salt and Pepper).
Pour the vinaigrette over the slaw and toss to coat evenly. Taste for seasoning and set aside.
Cook the Salmon
Grill salmon fillets over MED/HIGH heat for 3-4 minutes.
Baste with BBQ sauce.
Flip once and grill until opaque, about 3 more minutes.
Remove salmon and toast the buns.
Carefully place a piece of salmon on a toasted bun, top with cucumber slaw and serve immediately!
