Candied Jalapeno Wing Sauce by PS Seasoning
-
3 lb Party Wings
-
1/4 Cup Cornstarch
-
1.5 oz Tequila
-
3 Tbsp Lime Juice
-
2 Tbsp Avocado Oil
-
1 Tsp Lime Zest
Directions
Prepare the wings: If you have not already sectioned the wings, separate the flats from the drums.
Marinate the wings: In a food safe container, add 4 Tbsp Candied Jalapeno Wing Sauce by PS Seasoning, 2 Tbsp Avocado Oil, 3 Tbsp Lime Juice, 1.5 oz Tequila, and 1 Tbsp Midnight Toker by The Spice Guy. Add wings, mix thoroughly, cover, and marinate in the fridge for 2 hours.
Preheat the smoker or grill: Preheat your smoker or grill to 300°F.
Season the wings: Take wings out of the marinade, pat dry. Then add a generous amount of cornstarch ensuring wings are coated on all sides, followed by ‘Que That Barbecue Seasoning by Flat Top King.
Place wings directly on the grill or smoker grate and cook for 20 minutes each side.
Increase the grill temperature to 350°F and cook for 10 minutes each side.
Garnish the wings with a drizzle of Candied Jalapeno Wing Sauce by PS Seasoning, lime zest, Midnight Toker by The Spice Guy and serve.
Recipe Note
Pro Tips: If you’d like a smokier wing, cook at 220 °F for 2 hours then follow step 6 to create a crispy skin!
