Grilled Halibut Fish Steaks

This well-balanced fish recipe will win over even professed fish-haters.

Serves:  2


6 tbsp coconut oil

1 minced clove garlic

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp dried basil

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp parsley

2 halibut fillets, 6oz each


In a small stainless steel bowl, stir together coconut oil, garlic, salt, pepper, basil, parsley, and lemon juice.

Place halibut fillets into a resealable plastic bag and pour over marinade.

Seal and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour, turning halfway through.

Preheat grill to high and oil grill grate.

Drain halibut and place on grill.

Cook for 5 minutes over indirect heat, then carefully turn and cook for 5 minutes more.
