Dry Brine Tomahawk Steak

Directions

1. Pat the steak dry with a paper towel.

2. Season all over with Smoked Chipotle Salt by African Dream Foods

3. Place the steak on a wire rack lined sheet tray and place in the fridge for 24 hours.
4. Rinse off the excess seasoning and pat dry with a paper towel.
5. Preheat oven or smoker to 225 °F.
6. Smoke the steak until the internal temperature reaches 115 °F.
7. Allow the steak to rest while you raise the temperature of the grill to 400 °F.
8. Sear the steak on both sides for about 2 minutes each side.
9. Allow to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
