Pro Tip: How to Make Pork Belly Burnt Ends

This recipe is perfect if you bought a full sized pork belly slab for our homemade bacon recipe. Use the other half for these awesome burnt ends!

Ingredients

Spicy BBQ Sweet Heat Seasoning by Sauce Goddess

Maple Espresso BBQ Sauce by Southern City Flavors

1 Pork Belly Slab (4-5 lb), cut into 2-3” cubes

1/2 stick Butter or 1/4 cup Beef Tallow

1/4 cup Brown Sugar
Directions
Preheat your smoker or grill to 250°F using wood or charcoal of choice.
On a baking rack, place pork belly cubes about 1 inch apart.
Season with Spicy BBQ Sweet Heat Seasoning by Sauce Goddess on all sides.
Smoke for 2 hours, then remove and add to your grill safe baking dish or foil pan.
Add butter or tallow, brown sugar and 1/4 cup Maple Espresso BBQ Sauce by Southern City Flavors.
Mix together, covering all sides and place back in the smoker or grill for an additional 45 minutes to 1 hour or until about 200°F internal temperature.
Remove and let cool. Enjoy!
