Ingredients
- Meat Mitch Steer Season Rub
- Bacon & Whiskey BBQ Sauce by Southern City Flavors
- 2 racks Baby Back Ribs
- Binder of Choice (we suggest olive or avocado oil, tallow, or mustard)
- Bottle for Spritzing (filled with 2 cups Water, 2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar, & 2 Tbsp BBQ Sauce)
Directions
- Preheat your smoker to 250 °F using hickory wood.
- Prepare the ribs: Remove membrane on the bone side, and any loose pieces of fat.
- Apply a small amount of binder to all sides.
- Season with Meat Mitch Steer Season Rub.
- Place the ribs on your smoker, bone side down, and smoke for 3.5 hours, spritzing every 30 minutes.
- Increase smoker temperature to 275 °F.
- Add Bacon & Whiskey BBQ Sauce by Southern City Flavors to the top of the ribs using a mop or brush. Be sure to coat 2 times, where the sauce is thick but not running over. Continue to smoke an additional 45 minutes to 1 hour (until the internal temperature of 195 °F and bones can twist).
- Rest for 20 minutes. Slice and enjoy!
