Ingredients
- Lanes Q-NAMI Rub
- Palisade Peach BBQ Rub by The Spice Guy
- Lane’s Pineapple Chipotle Sauce
- Mis' Rubin's Magic All-Purpose Marinade
- 3 Tbsp Lanes Pineapple Chipotle Sauce combined with 2 cups Water for spritzing throughout the cook
- 2 racks Spare Ribs
- Cilantro for garnish
Directions
- Prepare the ribs. Remove the membrane on the bone side, and any loose pieces of fat. Cut off the ends of the rack to square it up.
- Marinate ribs overnight or for at least two hours in 1/4 cup Mis' Rubin's Magic All-Purpose Marinade.
- Preheat the smoker or grill to 250 °F using oak or hickory or charcoal.
- Remove the ribs from the marinade, and wipe off any excess liquid with a paper towel.
- Season the ribs with Palisade Peach BBQ Rub by The Spice Guy.
- Place on the smoker or grill, bone side down and smoke for 3 hours. Spritz 2-3 times throughout the cook.
- Prepare to foil. Lay out two sheets of foil with 4 slices of butter in a line. Follow the line with Lanes Pineapple Chipotle Sauce.
- Place ribs bone side up onto the foil and gently pour more Lane’s Pineapple Chipotle Sauce. Wrap foil and place back on the smoker for an additional 2 hours.
- Remove and Glaze Lane’s Pineapple Chipotle Sauce by using a mop or bbq brush. Sprinkle Lanes Q-NAMI Rub over the glaze.
- Smoke an additional 30 minutes or until the internal temperature of the ribs reaches 195 °F and the glaze sets.
- Rest for 20 minutes. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
- Slice and enjoy!
Recipe Note
Pro Tips: Use a paper towel when removing the membrane/silverskin from the bones. This protein also pairs well with the Pineapple Cilantro Rice from the Pineapple Chipotle Steak and Chicken Skewers recipe.
