Ingredients
-
Honey Chipotle by Red Beard Seasonings
-
Mike's Original Southern BBQ Sauce by Southern City Flavors
-
Ready 2 Grill™ Pre-soaked Cedar Planks by Jaccard
-
2-4 Salmon Filets
-
1/2 stick of Butter
Directions
Marinate the salmon filets for at least 30 minutes using Mike's Original Southern BBQ Sauce by Southern City Flavors.
Preheat the smoker or grill to 275 °F using pellets, charcoal or gas.
Remove the salmon from the marinade, and season the salmon with Honey Chipotle by Red Beard Seasonings.
Add Honey Chipotle by Red Beard Seasonings and 1 tbsp of Mike's Original Southern BBQ Sauce by Southern City Flavors to 1/2 stick of butter in a grill safe sauce pan or cast iron. Add to the smoker or grill to begin melting.
Lay the salmon filets on the Ready 2 Grill™ Pre-soaked Cedar Planks by Jaccard.
Place on the grill on the top rack and cook for 30 minutes, basting every 5 minutes with the butter and barbecue mixture. Try to drip baste, and avoid touching the salmon with the brush so that it has a nice glaze.
Cook until Salmon reaches a minimum of 145 °F internal temperature.
Serve over salad, with rice or grilled vegetables!
